Why is photography so important to me? What is it about photography that holds my interest? Is it just a hobby that gets me out of the house? Or maybe it’s just a leisurely past time.

For me, photography has become a lifestyle. It’s my visual diary. With every photo I take I try to convey a story, an emotion, or a perspective. At the very least, I aspire to take a photo that will be visually stimulating.

My style of photography has evolved over the past few years. My present focus has been with black and white photography. Black and white images, in my opinion, evoke emotion, simplicity, and add timelessness.

My goal as a photographer is simple: To have the viewer experience the same emotions I did when I photographed the subject.
